School!
SCHOOL. This word alone sends countless Malaysian students grabbing the nearest book, running for cover, or in some unfortunate cases, turning hysteric. I’m sure that some naysayers will be exclaiming: “What nonsense!” but wait! Try taking the test below:
I confess that I’ve experienced:
Conveniently ‘misplacing’ my homework as I put on a great show of digging through my bag, knowing all too well that it’s lying at home, pure and untouched.
Wishing that Mr. Procrastination would help my assignments complete themselves.
Losing ‘quite a few’ strands of hair due to involuntary hand movements while answering a test or revising for one.
Staring intently at the exam paper, hoping for answers to magically appear while chanting curses involving the examination, examiner, and examination board.
Laughing gleefully while walking past seniors or juniors studying for a major exam.
Mentally, these young adults gradually develop strategy-planning skills worthy of Sun Tzu’s approval. Armed with a meagre 24 hours a day, students have to juggle classes, homework, extra classes, extra homework, tuition classes, tuition homework, and yes, EXAMS. Undoubtedly, kids these days are far tougher than they look. Try touching that pint sized girl and you might end up with a taekwondo demonstration, complete with the finishing touches of her deadly fingers toned by piano, violin, and countless musical and art classes. To add icing to the cake, try taking into account that potential weapon she’s wielding (the godly HUGE sack of books!) and you might think twice before touching or even going within a 10-metre radius of her.
These days, knowing the exam format is just as important as possessing the ability to swallow textbooks (metaphorically speaking). In addition to the usual WHAT, students are also expected to know HOW to answer exams in order to score higher marks. Surprisingly, I have yet to come across a reference book on exam formats. Hmmm....potential bestselling book idea anyone? I’m sure Malaysian students will fling their novels on bloodsuckers and hairy beasts if they spot this next must-have reference material to add to their mini library at home, wouldn’t they?
Thus, the next time you see a child in a school uniform, do not take the kid lightly. That kid’s time management skills may put most adults to shame. Even that suspiciously bloated schoolbag may turn out to be his daily cardiovascular training and muscle toning tool. Now...who says our young generation isn’t getting enough exercise? Just don’t bump into that kid by mistake....a physical trashing of a lifetime may lie awaiting....

Ramblings of an old man...
Calm.
The wooden boards voice their dissatisfaction with creaks and groans but I can't blame them for straining under the load. After all, I am in the same predicament. Who would have thought that over the years, that young boy, full of zeal would turn into this old man struggling to take a few steps? Heck, even switching the television channel kills my fingers now.
I miss her.
The fight for dominance of the television. The scent of her shampoo as I embraced her. The light rays bouncing off her lush auburn hair. The eternal moments spent together. I struggle to hold on to the memories as my mind ages. It's like trying to keep sand from slipping through your fingers. As hard as you try, some grains eventually escape, lost forever.
I guess everyone will have their time on Earth. When they're gone, the best thing we can do is to cherish them. After all, life goes on.
Seriously boring & unpolished la dis piece. Biar lerr....saja gatal2 type abit oni ma =p

Essay: The Chronicles of a Traumatised Chick
I lie there helplessly, incapable of doing anything as he pounds into me furiously. My insides have already gone past the definition of pain a long time ago. God, what have i done to deserve this? He simply picked me from the streets like an innocent child plucking a pretty flower. Struggling against his tight grip, I fail repeatedly to obtain my freedom. Back home, he wastes no time working on me, his hungry eyes scanning my entire body greedily.
I can feel the following level of pain coming. I might just be unable to withstand this much longer. The next few moments feel like an eternity as I reminiscent my "pre-trauma" days. I was a hot chick, roaming the streets unhindered as other males ogled at me amorously. Most of them dropped their jaws. Some even had their ego dropped by me when I proudly turned them away. There I was, a pretty, stuck up, invincible youngster ready to conquer the world. Little did I know what the world held in store for me.
Yet, where am I now? My terrified mind fails to identify the strange objects around me. A shiny snake is dripping water into an large bowl with holes. I see bubbling water being poured out of a weird object as it whistles loudly. Nearby, magically blue fire dance below a flat black object, He is stripping every inch of me savagely, oblivious to my loud protests. I am sure his neighbours can hear this. Yet why aren't they doing anything? Are they used to such sorrowful cries of anguish piercing the air daily? I can't believe these humans are so evil as to allow such horrifying things to occur unhindered without a sliver of concern.
My fear and terror only heightens when his female companion appears. No, not another sadist to burn an unforgettable image in my mind! I pray for my life as she creeps silently, a large smile plastered on her face. However, the arrival of this new person turns out to be my blessing in disguise: a crucial distraction to the man. In the split second that the man's grip on me loosens, I flee for my life. Frantically flying out of the alien place, I ran akwardly, searching for a safe place: home.
My mind fails to remember how much time I spent roaming outdoors, yearning desperately for the comfort of my home. I fail to notice the stares I got from passing strangers. After all, how often do humans get to see a not-so-hot-anymore-chick roaming the streets naked, disheveled and traumatised? After what seemed like an eternity, thank heavens I managed to find my way back home.
I will never stray away from my chicken coop anymore.

Crapping Asshole(s)...
Somehow tinking we're all clowns,
Pls dun tink u r so great,
Acting bossy, "holding their fate",
Dumbly imagining u sit so high,
Wait until it's time for their reply,
When u realize your mistake,
Time won't retrace the steps it takes.
Humans cry alone, so goes the saying,
But no one'll join too when you're laughing,
Maybe to you, humility's unknown,
Jz u wait til you're left alone.
Yr arrival's heralded by your stink,
Your stupid words can really sting,
As much as they really hurt our ears,
Your social future is wat u shud fear.
Pls shut up, stop the caterwauling,
Or soon you'll be left with simply nothing,
Words spread around really fast,
This warning may be your last.

Finals Poem 2
Talking-talking, non-stop talking,
UTAR is definitely cutting costs,
One wonders who UTAR's hiring,
While students are suffering a great lost,
Lost of concentration, lost of paper,
Lecturers chatting in d exam hall,
Can u shut da **** up pls?
Dat's wat u reminded us after all!
How do we answer our exams silently,
If your voices rings in our ears?
Please UTAR, listen to our pleas,
Save us from this fear!!!!

Finals Poem 1
Dust particles fill the air,
As we are drowned by a wave of despair,
Long forgotten notes shrink in the scrutiny,
As we revise what we're long forgotten conveniently,
Various letters, numbers, characters appear,
Striking our hearts with the spear of fear,
For the long dreaded time has finally arrived,
The exams are here to take our lives!!!

3)Clear a lot of junk.
That's when I came across this scribbled on a piece of paper in my bag. Might as well post it b4 I throw d paper:
All the energy sapped out of us,
The end of dis lecture is wat we yearn,
Eagerly awaiting 2 escape this prison.
Numbers, figures, facts appear,
Inducing d ultimate sensation of fear,
Dreams appear and our minds flutter,
Cradled by personal imagination, unseen by others.
We watch him/her ramble excitedly 2 d claz,
Painfully waitin 4 time 2 pass,
I wonder who is paying full attention?
Dat guy/gal deserves a f***ing distinction!!!

Parrots....
A student who deserves to be barred,
Merely an annoying parrot,
Repeating what's been said like an idiot,
Though others deserve to say something,
Every time we hear you repeating,
When others have found the answer,
It's you who fights to shout louder,
Does it make u look smarter or dumber?
Stealing other's original answers?
Yelling loudly, bullshit-ing constantly,
As if you came up with the answers initially,
I seriously want to lend you some pity,
Lacking the brain to think properly,
But unfortunately, my disgust overwrites everything,
Obviously, the others also find u annoying,
Can it be pure coincidence?
You repeating our answers after mere seconds?
Or is it your super-fast reflexes?
Trained to replay every sentence?
How I long to unite your ass with my kick,
But just seeing you makes me extremely sick,
False smiles pollute my day,
How I wish u'll b sent away,
Remove this eyesore from us UTARians,
Restore peace, exterminate this contamination,
We'll voice our thoughts, knowledge to be gained,
Not by some parrot pretending to possess a brain.

Me
The next moment I fell in a whirl,
Why oh why did you betray me?
With sweet whispers tempting constantly,
False promises brush against my skin,
How I longed for its touch of sin,
Alas! A mere illusion has passed by,
To be felt but never to solidify,
Though my scars will never disappear,
I will still fight on, facing my fears,
When the time comes I shall defeat you,
Though no one will know whether it's true,
Whether the battle of my lifetime will ever end,
Til my death I will never understand,
How my life's greatest enemy,
Will always be myself, nothing but me.

Any1 reading dis & feelin bad bout yr results
You kno why I did this poem. You know what happened to you. You know no one (including myself) will ever feel what you feel. But I hope you know that this is from me sincerely......
BTW, pls dun quarrel over why dis poem is 4 many ppl. Who says sharing is illegal?!
With pristine tears unmistakably full of grace,
Even though I am nothing but a friend,
I sincerely hope you will understand,
No matter what I'll be here for you,
As long as you promise you'll stay true,
Be yourself and not some other person,
Or completely transform into another's perception,
Who gives a damn what people say,
It's you who live your life every single day,
Though they may try to shape you in and out,
Just ignore them and think aloud,
One day hopefully they'll see their wrongs,
Hopefully til that day you'll still stand strong,
Deflect the knives they throw at your heart,
Just persevere never to fall apart,
Full of confidence and ready to face the world,
All you need is that little pearl,
Hidden deep down your beautiful soul,
A great story yet to be untold,
But please do me a simple favour,
Promise me that you'll never ever,
Forget the person who uttered these words,
Or neglect that inner voice you've always heard.
Thank you for reading!!! I hope I touched u enuf dat u cried. Yeah rite, Fergie sings "Big girls dun cry." To hell wif her. She isn't d president of d world. You are the president of your world. Remember dat.
