It's odd. As time passes...the people who we previously found to be highly confident turn out to be those who are the most insecure inside. After the layers have been peeled and exposed, all the self-praise was actually self-reassurance in disguise.

Makes me wonder how fragile humans are inside.

Well....at least I wouldn't want that. Just stop whining please? Kesian gok kat budak2 fail, barely passing, barely surviving, etc. They're so much stronger for fighting on despite their results....

And I see FB posts about ppl not scoring.

I know you tried your best, you were expecting 4.0 or something. I'm sorry you didn't reach your target. But please try your best to keep your rants to somewhere less public. It hurts these people when they see you bitching about a string of As. And bitching isn't going to improve your grades anyway.

I don't mean to be rude, just a bit too honest I guess.

If you're planning do a little bit of national "Come see! Come see!", don't embarrass yourself (and the people around you) with bad English. Is it that difficult to get help? I guess it is, judging by the way you treat those under you.

Calm.

I wonder why I feel some sort of peace and calmness when I hear maghrib azan piercing the air, flanked by a nice sunset.

This song hurts. Deeply.

Plastic.

Squeeky-made-on-purpose-high-pitched voices annoy me. It's not like anyone's going to fall for such things, will they?

Charisma

Do you notice that some people seem to exude an aura of charisma? Regardless of how trivial or mundane their daily activities may be, they attract many bees to their social honeycombs. They're constantly surrounded by others, engaged in an endless flow of social contact. As the center of attention almost everything they do makes it to the social headlines of the people around them.

Even a simple comment on Facebook about what they ate for dinner, or which shoes they wore that day will attract dozens of "likes" and comments. Makes me wonder what's the factor which makes these particular people stand out from the crowd even when it comes to mundane matters.

All this makes me wonder what direction our society is heading towards. Don't get me wrong, I'm not picking a side to discuss whether it's good or bad. I'm just wondering what we'll be in the future.

Now, don't you find that intriguing?

What do you do when it seems that others occasionally seem plain dumb when it comes to knowing that they're supposed to do certain stuff without people telling them?

• Throw tantrums?
• Blackmail them into cooperating?
• Do it yourself, convincing yourself that it's a one-time occurrence?

Neh....just tell yourself that they're the not-so-fortunate human beings who weren't well educated when they grew up. Perhaps they lack common sense in certain aspects because they grew up with silver spoons crowding their mouths. That's why they seem so obliviously blind to simple things which we do automatically, taking it for granted. Poor souls.

Yeah....that's pretty rude. But effective for me. It does put a smile on my face as I do what they were supposed to do themselves in the first place.

Thank god for my twisted sense of sarcasm.

Laughters & Smiles

We tend to take friends for granted sometimes. When we're busy with our life, we forget to contact them, even if we spot them on MSN. It's like they're being shoved aside to make room for the once and only priority in our life.

Then life hits us in the guts.

And who do we turn to? Our friends. Ironic, isn't it? They're like the pairs of shoes you abandoned coz you were so fascinated with your brand-new pair...

Treasure your friends. Seriously.

Egotism

Let's just admit it.

Most of us, especially guys, have just that slight overdose of egos in themselves. Including me =p

• Refusing to admit my fault although I know very well that I should
• Playing tai chi concerning blame (a.k.a The Blame Game)
• Coming up with all sorts of crappy excuses for not getting something done
• And the list goes on...

I guess that's just built-in when it comes to most humans. But that isn't an excuse not to make a change....

Two months. Two freaking months.

I guess I should stop this. This ridiculous I-don't-feel-like-typing thing. Cz it isn't going to help anyone.

But then, I can't expect myself to just hop in and spam blog posts regularly immediately like I used too! Which reminds me of my not-so-recent jogging fiasco =p

Q: What happens when a geek who hasn't exercised in ages suddenly decides to jog until he's panting in the wee hours of the morning?

A: He falls sick.

I guess I should go slow with this blogging thingy after such a long hiatus. Wouldn't wanna get hit by sudden-blogging-shock-syndrome after all~
